Harley Davidson Dent Fix
Harley Davidson Road King in for tank and fender dents
This booming Harley Davidson Road King motorcycle recently came to the shop for an extended stay for a paintless dent fix to the petrol tank and front fender. Corey showed the faith leaving his pride and joy with us so we could tackle the dents in between our other dent and hail repair bookings.
First up we tackled the tank dent. Removing the fuel filler cap allowed us access to the internals of the tank. The filler hole rim is braced to minimise any distortion during leverage. Shaped levers are then inserted inside to start locating and massaging the rear side of the dent back out to its original state. Tool selection is critical here which is why we've invested heavily in motorcycle PDR tools and equipment to get the job done right. The result is a completely repaired tank dent saving astronomical costs in the traditional repair process that typically involves the removal, repairing/beating, painting and reinstallation of the tank.
The front fender dent then received our attention using our paintless dent fix process. Harley fenders are well secured and don't require additional isolation to leverage behind them in the dent fix process. With time and the right tools these dings are massaged out to a 100% standard in a fraction of the time and cost compared to conventional repairs.
The result is another very satisfied bike owner and Dent Revolution customer. Thanks to Corey for your time and patience.
